Lamie Mutuelle came into being in 2015 from the merger between the health insurer Intériale Filia and Mutuelle Familiale France et Outre-mer.
Intériale Filia was in charge of collecting the contributions of police civil servants and of other territorial bodies such as the Ministry of the Interior and the Conseils Généraux, for serving staff and retirees. Mutuelle Familiale, for its part, mainly provides health cover for expatriate or seconded staff, essentially in the overseas territories and abroad. These two organisations merged to form the inter-professional division of the Intériale group.
Lamie Mutuelle’s main areas of activity are insurance, health and personal protection.
